Q.

How will I retrieve my lost item?

A.

We suggest that you contact a UPS Store or FedEx/Kinko's close to your finders location. A UPS store can be located at www.ups.com or FedEx/Kinko's at www.fedex.com. Give the store location to your finder and pre-pay for the shipment of your package back to you. The process is simple, easy and eliminates all costs to the finder. It is your responsibility to make the arrangements to have your lost item returned to you unless Tracer Tags is acting as an intermediary.

Q.

Are Tracer Tags a Theft Deterrent?

A.

Studies have indicated that tagging or marking your belongings is very beneficial in the retrieval process. A determined criminal can take any tag off but may deface the item in the process, making the resale process more difficult.

Q.

How are Tracer Tags secure?

A.

Tracer Tags on your possessions identifies the item as yours without compromising your personal information, and stops identity thieft. Unlike older forms of identification tags where you wrote your name, address and phone number on the tag if lost, you could be contacted; Tracer Tags acts as a go between to keep your private information private. You can feel confident that when your private property has a Tracer Tag on it, no one can view your name, address or phone number when out in public. The finder will not contact you until you contact them to make arrangements to get your lost property back.
